4 things to note before you start using Gamolly
1) How does character credits work?
Character credits are deducted whenever you preview or synthesize a file. If you would like to preview the voice without using your character credits, you can use small play icon found next to each of the voices available. To preview the actual text, you will need to preview using your available credits. When you are certain of a voice clip, synthesize the file to play the same clip repeatedly without using up credits. Playing the file off a synthesized file does not use up your credits.
2) Use speaking rate to create natural sounding dialogue
Gamolly allows you to use varying speaking rates to adjust the output of your voice clips. Speed up or slow down specific parts of your text to give a more varied tone to your script.
3) Amazon or Google AI
You will notice that some of our AI voices have names to them while others just have alphabets assigned. This is due to the naming conventions of Amazon and Google. Amazon AI voices have names given to them while Google AI voices are just named as male/female with alphabets assigned. Using either Amazon or Google voices cost the same.
4) AI voice vs Standard
You will notice a difference in the quality of the output of standard vs AI voice. AI voice cost 4x character credits compared to standard outputs, but the result is a more natural sounding speech. Find out more.
